Genevieve Simard

     

OVERVIEW:  Canadian National Ski Team member since 1996, Genevieve continues to surprise everyone but herself. In 2002 she was named as the World Cup 2002 Rookie of the Year, in 2004 she had her first World Cup victory. Now a contender to be watched by the top skiers in the world, Genevieve has her sights firmly set on the Olympics in Italy 2006 and Vancouver 2010.

1st in Super-G at 2004 World Cup in Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA

4th in Super-G at 2003 World Championships, St. Moritz, SUI

2002 World Cup Rookie of the Year & Canadian National Slalom Champion

7th in Combined at 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

2nd in Giant Slalom at 2002 Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships  

2nd in Giant Slalom at 2003 FIS Race at Ratschings, ITA

3rd in Giant Slalom at 2002 World Cup in Berchtesgaden, GER

RESIDENCE:  Val-Morin, Quebec, CANADA
